Events & Registration
Give guests a clear way to register, arrive and take part.
Bring event details, RSVP or ticket registration, attendee records and follow-up into CreateMomento. Help your team prepare for the people coming, from first signup to arrival.
Built around your work
Make room for the work that matters
A signup list is only part of running an event. Guests need useful details, organizers need attendee information, and the team at the door needs a reliable check-in process.

Events & Registration
Keep registration and event-day work connected.
Choose the event format first, then test the guest journey before opening registration.
RSVP or ticketed eventsMatch registration to the event.
Use RSVP for free attendance confirmation or ticketed registration for free and paid ticket types. Choose carefully: the event type cannot be switched after creation.
Event pagesAnswer the questions guests ask before joining.
Present event details, schedule, speakers and location. A public event can also be embedded on a compatible website; review the mobile registration experience.
Individual attendee detailsKnow who is coming with a group.
Collect information for each ticket in a multi-ticket order. Copied details remain editable, so the buyer can enter the correct person for each ticket.
Registration controlsPlan around the places you can offer.
Set registration deadlines, total capacity and ticket quantities. Check event timezone and payment setup before opening a paid registration flow.
In-person check-inGive the arrival team a usable guest record.
Use the supported mobile app to scan ticket QR codes or check guests in manually after verifying identity. This check-in flow is for in-person events, not online attendance.
Event workflowsConnect attendee activity to the next step.
Use registration or check-in triggers and event-relative timing for configured reminders and follow-up. Coordinate these with built-in notifications to avoid duplicate messages.

An example, step by step
A neighborhood business workshop
A business publishes a free RSVP event with its location and agenda. Staff test the confirmation and mobile check-in before sharing the registration link.
Illustrative example. Sample workflow, not a live product screen.
A team attending together
One buyer orders tickets for a workshop and completes each attendee’s details. The organizer reviews the participant list rather than treating the buyer as the whole group.
Illustrative example. Sample workflow, not a live product screen.
A follow-up after arrival
A configured check-in workflow starts a follow-up path for guests who arrived. The team tests the timing and message consent before activating it.

Questions before you start
Is this the same as an appointment calendar?
No. Dedicated Events supports public RSVP and ticketed registration. Appointment calendars and community gatherings are separate experiences with different settings.
Can one person register several attendees?
Multi-ticket registration collects details for each ticket. The buyer is treated as the first attendee; review the form if someone is purchasing on behalf of other people.
Can people register from our website?
Public event pages can be embedded where supported. Test the full registration flow and mobile layout, and confirm any site-specific privacy or access requirements.
Does a registration count as attendance?
No. Keep signup and arrival separate. The in-person check-in process records arrival; it does not prove that someone attended an online session.
Can we manage online events?
Yes, with an online meeting link and joining instructions. Test when the link becomes visible and confirm the external meeting service separately.
Does unpublishing an event refund tickets?
No. The organizer must handle refunds separately. Explain the cancellation policy and review affected registrations before taking an event offline.
Can attendees transfer tickets themselves?
There is no self-service transfer flow. The organizer must handle attendee changes through the available registration controls.
Can reminders and follow-up be automated?
Configure event notifications and workflows, then test them together. Check timing, consent and sender setup. An enabled message does not guarantee delivery or attendance.
