Usage and compliance fees

Clear pass-through pricing for the pieces that depend on usage.

Your subscription covers the platform tier you choose. SMS, calls, email, WhatsApp, AI actions, carrier surcharges, and some compliance registrations can still vary by volume, geography, provider rules, and account setup.

The simple rule

Subscription and usage should never be mixed together.

We keep subscription pricing separate from pass-through provider costs so you can understand what is included, what is usage-based, and what may be required by carriers or messaging networks.

Subscription tiers cover platform access and included plan features.
Usage-based communication and AI costs are billed from carrier/provider activity.
Compliance fees such as A2P registration are mandatory where they apply.
Billing history should show a transaction-level breakdown inside the account billing area.

Core usage rates

Use these as the current overage and pass-through usage references before choosing workflows with high communication or AI-action volume.

SMS segment behavior

SMS pricing is based on segments, not just message count. A message can split into multiple billable segments depending on length and characters.

Standard SMS messages are typically up to 159 characters per segment.
Longer messages may split into multiple billable segments.
Emojis and complex characters can increase segment count.
Concise copy is usually better for cost, readability, and response rate.

WhatsApp messaging charges

The WhatsApp subscription and messaging usage are separate. Template message charges depend on destination country, category and current provider rules. We confirm applicable rates before activation.

Compliance and carrier fees

Messaging networks can require registration, carrier surcharges, number fees, and other compliance-related costs. These are not optional when they apply to the account or campaign.

Brand registration: $4.41 for sole proprietor to $48.51 for standard brands.

Where to review charges

Keep a transaction-level view of usage.

Inside the account billing area, use the transaction view to inspect usage, overages, and provider-driven charges. If anything is unclear, ask us before scaling outbound campaigns.

Need help estimating usage before checkout?

If you expect heavy SMS, call, WhatsApp, or AI usage, we should model that before you choose a plan so the subscription and usage profile make sense together.
