AI Knowledge Base
Give your AI assistants information your team can stand behind.
Organize approved website content, FAQs and documents for connected AI tools in CreateMomento. Test which sources they find and keep the information current.
Built around your work
Make room for the work that matters
An assistant cannot resolve conflicting policies or know that a document is outdated on its own. Clear, maintained reference material gives it a better basis for answering customer questions.

AI Knowledge Base
Build useful reference material, then test it.
A knowledge base supplies information. The connected assistant still needs instructions, configuration and review.
Source organizationKnow where an answer should come from.
Manage supported source types such as FAQs, website pages, documents and written entries. Choose the relevant knowledge base for each intended use.
Documents and written guidanceReuse material your team already maintains.
Add supported PDF or Word documents, or write a rich-text entry. Review processing status and extracted content; uploading a file is not proof it can answer a question.
Website contentReview what the assistant reads from your site.
Use supported crawler sources and inspect the captured content. Remove outdated or irrelevant material and check the result after refreshing the source.
Agent connectionGive the right assistant the right references.
Attach the knowledge base to a supported AI tool or agent. Creating the source collection alone does not connect it to every assistant.
Retrieval testingFind gaps before a customer does.
Ask realistic questions in the retrieval tester and inspect the returned sources. Test different wording and missing-information cases, then test the full assistant conversation separately.
Source maintenanceKeep approved answers aligned with your business.
Assign an owner for changes. Replace or refresh the relevant sources, wait for processing and retest. Optional source sync needs separate configuration and does not make every uploaded file self-updating.

An example, step by step
A question about a service
A service business prepares concise FAQs and an approved service document. The team checks whether differently worded customer questions retrieve the right explanation.
Illustrative example. Sample workflow, not a live product screen.
An updated policy
A business changes a policy and removes the outdated version from its sources. After processing, the team repeats its test questions and checks the connected assistant’s response.
Illustrative example. Sample workflow, not a live product screen.
A question the sources cannot answer
A team tests an unusual request before launch. When the approved material does not cover it, they refine the assistant’s instructions for asking for clarification or handing off.

Separate reference material from assistant behavior.
Knowledge, conversations and actions each need their own setup.

A clear starting point
We check your account, available features and usage needs before recommending a plan. Software access, custom setup and ongoing management are scoped separately.
Questions before you start
Does uploading files train a new AI model?
This feature makes source material available for retrieval by supported AI tools. Do not treat a file upload as training a new model or guaranteeing that it learned every detail.
Is creating a knowledge base enough?
No. Sources must finish processing and the knowledge base must be attached to the relevant supported agent or tool. Test that connection before use.
Which documents can we add?
Supported document uploads include PDF and Word files. Confirm current file requirements and review the extracted text, especially when a document contains scanned pages or complex formatting.
Will website changes appear immediately?
Do not assume that. Refresh behavior depends on the source and configured update method. Confirm the latest content was processed and can be retrieved.
Can we upload confidential customer information?
Review authorization, sensitivity and intended audience first. Check the connected assistant’s access and behavior; a knowledge base is not a blanket guarantee of confidentiality.
Does retrieval testing prove the assistant is ready?
No. It checks which source content can be found. Also test the assistant’s prompts, conversation context, actions and handoff behavior.
Is this automatically connected to Ask AI?
No. Confirm support and configuration for the specific tool and task. A knowledge base used by a customer-facing assistant should not be assumed to configure Ask AI.
Can it guarantee accurate answers?
No. Keep sources clear and current, remove conflicts, test realistic questions and define how the assistant handles missing information. Review responses after changes.
